Can VEED put text behind a person?
Yes, for a text you add yourself: VEED has a Text Behind Person option in its editor, and you place the text by dragging it on the canvas. A review advises keeping the subject relatively static. Sleepy Motion captions the whole video behind the subject: every word transcribed, timed and placed around the subject automatically, while the subject moves.
Can VEED make an ad from my website?
We tried. On October 25, 2026, "make an ad for nike.com" in VEED's AI ad maker wrote a two-line script about founders and then asked us to upgrade to generate the video, so the free plan gave no ad at all. The same sentence in Sleepy Motion gave a 10-second ad with Nike shoes from the site, animated text, the swoosh and a NIKE.COM end card.
Is VEED free?
VEED is free to start, but generating an AI ad asked us to upgrade: Creator is $8 a month billed yearly ($96), Pro $19 a month billed yearly ($228). Sleepy Motion makes ads on the free plan, with 3 videos a month, and paid plans start at $5 a month.
Can I use both?
Yes. You can make the captions or the ad in Sleepy Motion and finish the edit in VEED. Sleepy Motion downloads are plain MP4 files.
